CHRIS' STORY 

Helping people find what makes them come alive is a central passion of my life. You are wired to have creative expressions that bring you joy and satisfaction, whether or not others see them. The answers are often closer than we realize, waiting to be discovered through meaningful connection, creative exploration, and new perspectives on life . Whether through career decisions, art or music, experiences, problem-solving, relationships, or other forms, my goal is to help people build a life they love. 

No matter what challenge you face, there's still hope for beauty and meaning to be discovered in the midst of brokenness. I've seen the most painful and worst parts of my own story become the starting place for healing, connection, and discovery of creative expressions that bring joy, hope, and purpose. External recognition or validation from an audience is not needed to find fulfillment. Whether you're dealing with an addiction or an unhealthy coping mechanism, stress and pressure, relational dysfunction, or simply a lack of purpose or direction, developing life-giving experiences of creativity is a powerful source of motivation and hope.

Five years ago, I had forgotten about my own creative nature. I did not believe I was a writer or musical. I lived with a constant pressure to prove that I was doing enough with the opportunities which I had been blessed to have, including education at Harvard and Princeton, working in Silicon Valley, and travels that took me to more than 70 countries around the world. 

I never would have guessed that my life could take such a positive turn in the midst struggling with alcohol and stress hopelessness. The solution  was closer than I realized. Deep, genuine connection experienced on a personal, relational and spiritual level provided experiences of grace and love that brought healing. Learning to love myself had the unexpected result of jumpstarting creative expression in many forms, including dance music, entrepreneurship, strategy creation for system-challenges, editing and producing short films, meaningful reconnection with family members and old friends, outdoors adventures, and writing. 

Today, I love my life, and not just the picturesque, Instagrammable parts. Daily connection and creative expressions -- often just for me -- brings great joy and satisfaction. I've helped leaders in the worlds of technology, real estate, music and entertainment, finance, and other fields grow in confidence, exploration and enjoyment of their creative expressions. I am honored to get to serve those struggling with addiction or other challenges, and to be a part of helping create restorative pathways for the formerly incarcerated.

You don't have to walk this process alone. Experiences of joy and goodness that remind you of your value and potential can help you show up better in any aspect of life. Your mess, imperfection, or perceived lack of qualification are not the permanent barriers they may appear to be. I have relentless hope for people in the midst of broken situations because I've seen the transformative power of love firsthand in the middle of my own mess. Those who are forgiven much, love much, and it's easy to give your life away when you experience how much of a gift it is. Everyone can be great, because everyone can love.
