My life changed when I made the decision to reach out for help and get input on parts of life that needed change. I was advancing professionally but not in a sustainable or fulfilling way. Truthfully, I was miserable. But these low moments sparked experiences of connection and discovery of tools that unlocked creativity and career clarity, strengthened wellness, and fueled joy and meaning. OneStepGrowth is a platform that connects individuals, organizations, and families to supportive, hope-filled coaches, mentors, or consultants. Greater purpose, connection, wellness, and joy can be discovered through professional or personal challenges. 

In each of us lies the creative potential for more than what we have experienced. Whether you’re facing uncertainty in your work, struggling with personal wellness, feeling unfulfilled despite success, battling toxic thought like impostor syndrome, struggling to build new habits or community, or walking through a situation that is difficult to discuss, our guides are here for you. They can walk alongside you in your journey and help you make the changes and choices you need to grow. Messy processes can birth new growth, productivity, and flourishing in our lives, if we have the tools in place to translate crap into fertilizer. Often, this starts with having someone who can help us see things in a new light and move forward. 

I didn't realize that the most challenging seasons of my life would spark discovery of a new operating system, or lead me eventually to writing and publishing my first books, Creativity Unlocked and Creativity Activated. Getting help for an addiction to alcohol and other compulsive behaviors led to a fuller experience of life than I had ever known. You don't need to have that specific issue to benefit from our services, and you don't need to take massive steps to spark greater joy and productivity. What I learned on the wellness journey helped increase purpose and sustainable productivity for my work in the tech world, and eventually enabled me to take the leap into entrepreneurship to solve problems I am passionate about. Having someone to process through life with and support me along the way has made a huge difference on the journey.  But it’s not the “doing” or the “impact” that brings me most joy: it’s the meaningful connection I find at work, with family, and via faith and community along the way. 

Hope and unconditional love are powerful forces that fuel the work we do, serving people from all backgrounds and experiences. I am a follower of Jesus, and appreciative of how He revolutionized the world through Love. My desire is that people from all backgrounds would experience greater wellness, connection, and joy in their lives.
